Who Are We?
For more than a quarter of a century, Creative Ministries has been telling people about Jesus. Using the tools of creative drama, interactive Bible study, interpretive movement, mime, multi-media presentations, puppetry, Reader's Theater, Scripture memorization, story telling and music, we present the Gospel to those who haven't yet received it and help Christians grow in their faith. In addition, we conduct seminars, workshops, internships and ministry sessions to help equip Christian workers.
Creative Ministries, Inc. is an interdenominational, non-profit Christian Ministry and operates under the authority of a board of directors which includes ordained ministers and evangelists, and professional people. Begun in 1978, this ministry has provided a means of sharing the Gospel through the creative arts throughout the eastern United States and in many parts of the world. In addition, Creative Ministries does much in our home county through local churches and organizations and conducts an annual children's outreach ( Oasis Day Camp).
Our full time staff includes our program director, CliffAnn Perry (B.A. in Christian Education, Asbury College; M.A. in Communications with a concentration in Creative Drama, Regent University); and our president, Fay Nelson (B.A., English and Spanish, East Carolina University).
In addition to CliffAnn and Fay, Creative Ministries is staffed by a number of part time staff and volunteers trained to minister effectively in the creative arts. All staff members are committed Christians and are active in a local church.
