Yesterday as I (Fay) was working on the December newsletter, a pastor from the Dominican Republic called. He was so excited he could barely contain himself. The previous night he had been preaching and God showed him something to tell us. I asked what it was, of course. He said, "Don't quit! God has called you to take the Gospel to the children of the nations and you cannot quit!" Our iffy connection broke at that point. He had no way of knowing that we had been discussing finances and that continuing seemed to be impossible, at least in that realm.

So we ask for your prayers. Our opportunities to minister next year are huge and have to have been set in place by God. We feel each is an opportunity He has provided. And though all provisions come from God, He still expects us to share our needs with others.

So our prayer requests are many:

• For enough money to balance our books and do the material preparation for our trips to Spansih speaking nations next year
• For our missions to Nicaragua, Cuba, Africa and the Dominican.
• That we can continue to encourage the many who come to our office and homes who are in need of prayer and are desperate for encouragement
• That we will clearly hear from God about how to navigate this time in a way to bring glory to Him and enlarge His kingdom
